ELIGIBILITY: The We Heart 500k Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open to legal U.S. residents residing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who have reached the age of majority in their state of residence at the time of entry, who are Facebook users. Officers, directors, and employees of Jo-Ann Stores Inc. and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, and immediate family members (parent, child, spouse, grandparent, grandchild, brother, sister) and members of the households of such persons (whether or not related) are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. By entering you agree to these Official Rules and to all decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: The Giveaway begins at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on January 3, 2013, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on January 5, 2013 (“Promotional Period”).

HOW TO ENTER: (a) Go to the Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores Facebook Page and like the page, and complete all required fields in the online entry form located on the “We Heart 500k” tab. Click on the “Submit”button to complete your entry into the Giveaway. Incomplete or garbled entries will be disqualified. (b) You may only enter the Giveaway once during the entire Promotional Period. Additional entries by the same entrant will be disqualified, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

PRIZES AND SELECTION OF WINNERS: Sponsor will select eleven (11) winners in a random drawing held on or about January 9, 2013, from among all eligible entries received. One (1) winner will receive a $500 Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores gift card, and ten (10) winners will receive a $50 Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores gift card. No cash in lieu of prize or substitution of prize, except in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes are non-transferable prior to award and must be accepted as awarded. Returned prizes will not be awarded. Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores gift card is subject to all terms and conditions generally applicable thereto. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Limit one prize per person per e-mail address during the Giveaway. The potential winners will be notified via e-mail and/or telephone on or about January 9, 2013, and will have 5 business days to contact Jo-Ann Stores, Inc. regarding the prize. Potential winners will be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release within 7 business days from the date sent in order to formally claim the prize. Failure to return the signed documentation in the time noted will result in disqualification of the entry and forfeiture of the prize, in which case Sponsor will select and notify an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries. Return of any prize or prize notification as “undeliverable” will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made during 5 business days from the first notification attempt, such person will be disqualified. Winner is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state and local taxes on prize. Sponsor will arrange for shipment of the gift card to winner’s address provided in the declaration and forms via courier within 2 to 4 weeks after confirmation.

CONDITIONS: By participating in the Giveaway, you release and agree to hold Jo-Ann Stores, Inc., Facebook, their respective subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Giveaway or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, whether suffered by you or a third party. The Giveaway is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law, and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. If for any reason the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, human error or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Giveaway, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or submits a fraudulent entry, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway, and to select winners from among the non-corrupted eligible entries received during the Giveaway prior to such event. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading of any materials in the Giveaway. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, garbled, mutilated or postage due mail, e-mail or electronic transmissions. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the entrant, entrant will be deemed to be the individual whose name is submitted with the entry. All requests must be received from January 14 to January 18, 2013. Vermont residents may omit return postage. Names of winners may also be posted on the 12 Pins of Christmas Board on the Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Facebook page and at Joann.com. Giveaway is governed by U.S. law.
